Celebrating its eighth year, the Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi is the first PGA TOUR event ever held within the city of Detroit. Hosted on the Tyler Rae newly re-designed, Detroit Golf Club, the Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi provides an opportunity to showcase our community through world-class golf.

Since 2019, the Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi has invested over $10 million into local nonprofit organizations - including $6 million to our “Changing the Course” initiative, which connects Detroiters with high-speed internet, digital devices, and essential training. Launched in 2020, “Changing the Course” has helped Detroit transform from one of the least-connected large cities in the U.S. to a nationally recognized model for digital inclusion.

The Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi champions lasting change in the Detroit community- revitalizing neighborhoods around Palmer Park, expanding access to technology and opportunity, and empowering the next generation through strong partnerships with local youth and equity- focused organizations.
