In celebration of everything that makes Detroit a great place to live, work and play, the Rocket Classic offers Detroit Community Day on Wednesday, July 29th for all residents of the 313 and beyond to enjoy complimentary access to the Delta Dental Pro-Am and First Tee Greater Detroit Youth Clinic.

Come out for the final round and enjoy complimentary admission on Sunday, June 22. Parking is located at the University of Detroit Mercy – McNichols Campus (4001 W McNichols Rd., Detroit, MI 48221).
No ticket required for complimentary parking and admissions.
The event is named after John Shippen, Jr., who was the first American-born golf professional and also the country's first Black golf professional. The event was established to identify historical barriers to and expand upon Black representation in the sport of golf and create awareness, access and opportunities for persons of color in the business of sports.
