In celebration of everything that makes Detroit a great place to live, work and play, the Rocket Classic offers Detroit Community Day on Wednesday, July 29th for all residents of the 313 and beyond to enjoy complimentary access to the Delta Dental Pro-Am and First Tee Greater Detroit Youth Clinic. Parking and shuttle service to the course is provided at University of Detroit Mercy on 4001 W. McNichols Road. Detroit, MI 48221.

Come out for the final round and enjoy complimentary admission on Sunday, June 22. Parking is located at the University of Detroit Mercy – McNichols Campus (4001 W McNichols Rd., Detroit, MI 48221).
No ticket required for complimentary parking and admissions.
The event is named after John Shippen, Jr., who was the first American-born golf professional and also the country's first Black golf professional. The event was established to identify historical barriers to and expand upon Black representation in the sport of golf and create awareness, access and opportunities for persons of color in the business of sports.

Delta Dental Pro-Am

1st Morning Tee Time: 6:45 a.m.
Last Afternoon Tee Time: 2:21 p.m.
Get up close to the action and watch PGA TOUR professionals and celebrities play in a relaxed setting throughout the day. Each PGA TOUR pro is matched up with amateur golfers in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Because galleries are smaller, spectators can get better views of their favorite players than on any other day during tournament week.
Free admission and parking. No ticket or parking pass required.

Wednesday, July 29 from 4:00-5:30 pm
Elementary and middle school-aged youth are invited and will have the opportunity to:
