2026 Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club to Feature 10 Major Championship Winners and 21 Players in the Top 50 of the World Rankings

The majority of the 145-player field for the 2026 Rocket Classic has been finalized. The eighth-annual PGA TOUR event returns to Detroit Golf Club from July 30 to August 2 and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel and CBS.
The 2026 Rocket Classic field includes 10 major championship winners and 21 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, including:
No. 3 – Cameron Young – Three-time PGA TOUR winner, including two this season at THE PLAYERS Championship and Cadillac Championship
No. 5 – Russell Henley – Six-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge
No. 7 – Chris Gotterup – Five-time PGA TOUR winner, including three wins this season
No. 9 – Wyndham Clark – 2023 and 2026 U.S. Open champion
No. 14 – J.J. Spaun – 2025 U.S. Open winner; Making seventh appearance at the Rocket Classic
No. 15 – Xander Schauffele – 10 PGA TOUR wins, including two major championships in 2024 at The Open Championship and PGA Championship
No. 18 – Si Woo Kim – Four-time PGA TOUR winner
No. 19 – Ben Griffin – Three-time PGA TOUR winner
No. 24 – Ryan Gerard – 2025 Barracuda Championship winner
No. 30 – Hideki Matsuyama – 11 PGA TOUR wins, including the 2021 Masters champion
No. 32 – Akshay Bhatia – Three-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard; Finished T2 at the 2024 Rocket Classic.
No. 39 – Patrick Cantlay – Eight-time PGA TOUR winner; Finished T2 at 2022 Rocket Classic
No. 41 – Rickie Fowler – Six-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2023 Rocket Classic
No. 43 – Keegan Bradley – 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain; Eight PGA TOUR wins, including the 2011 PGA Championship
No. 54 – Nico Echavarria – 2026 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches winner
No. 55 – Jordan Spieth – Making his Rocket Classic debut; Thirteen PGA TOUR wins, including three major championships – the 2015 Masters and U.S. Open, and the 2017 Open Championship.
No. 56 – Jason Day – 2015 PGA Championship winner; 13-time PGA TOUR winner
No. 77 – Sungjae Im – Two-time PGA TOUR winner; Three-time member of the International team at the Presidents Cup; 2020 Olympian; Three top-25 finishes at the Rocket Classic, including a T8 in 2021.
Other notable commitments include:
Aldrich Potgieter – Defending Rocket Classic champion
Cameron Davis – Two-time Rocket Classic winner (2021, 2024)
Tony Finau – 2022 Rocket Classic champion
Brooks Koepka – Five-time major championship winner; Nine-time PGA TOUR winner

Ryan Ruffels – Popular YouTube golfer (@RyanRuffelsGolf) will be granted the final sponsor exemption into the tournament; 28-year-old Australian has made 21 PGA TOUR starts
Brad Dalke – Professional golfer who has earned widespread fame on YouTube and other social media platforms, Dalke was the runner-up at the 2016 U.S. Amateur at Oakland Hills and is making his PGA TOUR debut at the Rocket Classic.
Joe Hooks – A 2011 graduate of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy, just two miles from Detroit Golf Club, Hooks was an all-state selection as a junior and senior, and estimated he has played more than 1,000 rounds at Detroit Golf Club throughout his life. He attended Wayne State University and turned pro in 2017. He’s since won four times on the Advocates Professional Golf Association Tour and made his PGA TOUR debut in the 2025 Rocket Classic.
Four additional players will be added to the field through an open qualifier on Monday, July 27.
Tickets are available at www.RocketClassic.com. Grounds tickets for Thursday and Friday are $68 per day, and Saturday and Sunday tickets are $78 per day. Special rates for groups of 10 or more, plus student rates and military discounts, will be available. Kids 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult (up to four kids per adult).
