Jordan Spieth commits to Rocket Classic

One week before the opening round of the 2026 Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi, another top player has committed to play in the event: Jordan Spieth.

Spieth will make his debut at the Rocket Classic. The 13-time PGA TOUR winner has three major championship victories on his resume – the 2015 Masters and U.S. Open and the 2017 Open Championship. He is ranked 55th in both the Official World Golf Ranking and the FedExCup standings.

The field will be mostly complete at the commitment deadline comes this Friday, July 24 once the second round of the 3M Open has been completed, and four additional players will be added to the field through an open qualifier Monday.

The Rocket Classic will return to Detroit Golf Club for its eighth consecutive year, July 30 – August 2, bringing the PGA TOUR’s top players back to Detroit.
