Top-30 players Sam Burns, Akshay Bhatia commit to Rocket Classic

The player field for the 2026 Rocket Classic presented by AlumniFi is shaping up to be the strongest in the tournament’s eight-year history, and a number of additional top players have recently committed to play in the event:
Sam Burns – World No. 17; Five-time PGA TOUR winner; Two-time member of the U.S. team in both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup; Making his third appearance in the Rocket Classic.
Akshay Bhatia – World No. 26; Three-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard; Finished T2 at the 2024 Rocket Classic.
Sungjae Im – World No. 80; Two-time PGA TOUR winner; Three-time member of the International team at the Presidents Cup; 2020 Olympian; Three top-25 finishes at the Rocket Classic, including a T8 in 2021.
Cameron Davis – Two-time Rocket Classic winner (2021 and 2024).

The Rocket Classic will return to Detroit Golf Club for its eighth consecutive year, July 30 – August 2, bringing the PGA TOUR’s top players back to Detroit.
Tickets are available at by clicking here. Grounds tickets for Thursday and Friday are $68 per day, and Saturday and Sunday tickets are $78 per day. Special rates for groups of 10 or more, plus student rates and military discounts, will be available. Kids 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult (up to four kids per adult).
