2025 Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club to feature 10 major championship winners and 12 players in the top 50 of the world rankings

The majority of the 156-player field for the 2025 Rocket Classic has been finalized. The seventh-annual PGA TOUR event returns to Detroit Golf Club from June 25-29 and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel and CBS.

DETROIT (June 20, 2025) – The majority of the 156-player field for the 2025 Rocket Classic has been finalized. The seventh-annual PGA TOUR event returns to Detroit Golf Club from June 25-29 and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel and CBS.


The 2025 Rocket Classic field includes 10 major championship winners and 67 PGA TOUR winners totaling 195 career victories. It features 12 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, including:

· No. 4 – Collin Morikawa – 2020 PGA Championship winner, 2021 Open Championship winner, six-time PGA TOUR winner, T2 at 2023 Rocket Classic

· No. 11 – Hideki Matsuyama – 2021 Masters champion, 11-time PGA TOUR winner

· No. 15 – Ben Griffin – Two PGA TOUR wins this season

· No. 20 – Patrick Cantlay – Eight-time PGA TOUR winner, second at the 2023 Rocket Classic

· No. 21 – Keegan Bradley – 2011 PGA Championship winner, 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team captain, seven-time PGA TOUR winner

· No. 27 – Wyndham Clark – 2023 U.S. Open winner, three-time PGA TOUR winner

· No. 34 – Akshay Bhatia – Two-time PGA TOUR winner, T2 at 2024 Rocket Classic

· No. 36 – Min Woo Lee - T2 at 2024 Rocket Classic

· No. 39 – Cameron Young – T2 at 2022 Rocket Classic, T6 at 2024 Rocket Classic

· No. 43 – Tony Finau – 2022 Rocket Classic champion

· No. 46 – Max Greyserman - 16 cuts made in 18 events this season

· No. 49 – Byeong Hun An – Two-time Olympian, two-time member of Presidents Cup International team

The final five spots in the Rocket Classic field will be awarded to Sunday’s winner of THE JOHN SHIPPEN Men’s Golf Invitational Presented by Rocket Mortgage – a 36-hole tournament taking place at Detroit Golf Club – and four Monday qualifiers.
